Another published photo…

I have another published photo under my belt. The latest PC Magazine has a portait that I took of my friend and coworker, Annaliza Savage. Some might remember her as the series producer of GameSpotTV and Extended Play.

damnit. it’s hot.
so… at christmas… my mom stuffed my stocking with various perfume samples. candy too… but i was able to stay away from it. there was one perfume i liked in particular… and dang it. it’s paris hilton’s perfume. good grief.
hot topic: CES and MacWorld. past couple of days i’ve gotten tons of work done… there was only 3 people on my floor today… everyone else was at CES — the consumer electronics show. or macworld… where they announce the iPhone. looks interesting. i was browsing around for video ipods… but now i think i’ll have to wait and see. sadly, i didn’t get to go to either of these. :(
hot camera: i bought a lomographic film camera — the fisheye 2. it’s looks pretty interesting. i’ve been snapping photos here and there and i’ll be uploading them at some point. it’s a film camera so i have to actually get it developed! it’s been so long! ha! you can check out the lomography society for tons of images created by these cheap cameras. hoping to get some good stuff out of mine.

wi-fi wabbits.

oh. these look interesting. they’re french. Nabaztag/tag’s are wi-fi enabled “smart rabbits.” comes with some pretty cool capabilities. the ears are the antennas and can me rotated individually. what’s cool is that it has lights and you can program it to flash patterns if you have a new email, and will read RSS news feeds. it’ll even read aloud your emails or text messages. it’ll play podcasts and has a mic for two-way communication. pretty neat, and cute to boot. read more at pcmag.com.

all i want for christmas…
since i got my replacement two front teeth when i was about 5… here are a few other goodies i’d love to find under my plastic (so sad) tree:
1) Tivo Series 3 dual-tuner HD.
i hate! hate! hate! the comcast hd dvr. it bites, it blows, and is horrible. perhaps i’m spoiled by tivo’s ease of use. perhaps. the series 3 tivo has a hefty price tag ($799! egads!), but if i get one before 12/31, i can transfer my lifetime membership from one of the other tivo’s to it. of cours i have to pay another $199 to do so! doh. $1000. ack. i doubt anyone will get that for me.
2) Estarling digital photo frame.
was geeking around and saw this frame on thinkgeek.com. i need to do more research, but it looks cool. it’s got wifi capabilites and will display photos sent to an email address or those posted on a service like flickr etc. and the upside is that there’s no service fees like some of the other online capabile picture frames.
hmm.. well i’ll have to update this list later, but there are two really good ones right there. :)
